Environment science

This major aims to cultivate the high-quality compound talents with an all-round development of morality, intelligence, physics and arts. In addition, they full of innovative spirit and practical ability. They can work in the government departments, enterprises, research institutes, and universities in the field of environmental protection, such as scientific research, teaching, environmental pollution control, planning and management.

Agricultural Resources and Environment

The major aims to meet our country's needs in the field of resource efficient utilization and ecological environment protection. Cultivating compound talents having basic theories, knowledge and skills about agricultural resource and environment. They can work in management, technology development and popularization in high-class institutions, scientific research units, government department and enterprises which focus on developing agriculture, land planning and renovation, agricultural resources as well as environmental protection.

Provincial key disciplines (plant protection)

The history of discipline of plant protection can be traced back to 1953. For more than 60 years, the discipline has trained many nationally well-known scholars. The discipline has established several important platforms for science and technology innovation. Discipline members to undertake and participate in a number of national research projects. The research focuses in the subject include utilization of insect resources and pest control, integrated management of agricultural pests, integrated management of plant disease, pesticide toxicology and chemical control, pest control and ecological security.
