Academic Communication

To guide the development of the discipline construction and scientific research, Dr. Zhiyong huang, tenured professor of Michigan state university andProfessor Xiwu Gao of China agricultural university were hired by School as academic coaches for insects and pesticide disciplines, respectively. Nearly three years, 110 teachers have participated in all kinds of academic conference of, seven teachers are on-the-job assiduously study degree, eightteachers have participatedexchange and study abroad.

In the past three years, school has undertaken 55 scientific research projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels.

Scientific Achievements

116 papers have been researched, including 38SCI. 37 patents have been filed, including 14 patents for invention.33 bookshave published and26 results have obtained.Among them, “safe production and processing of high-quality bee products and quality safety control technology”won the second prize of national technical invention.“Whole-process control and new value-added processing technology and promotion and application of high-quality and safe production of bee”won the first prize of national agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery harvest award.“Healthy and efficient bee breeding and technological innovation and application of deep processing of bee products" won the second prize of scientific and technological progress of Henan province. The scientific research team of insect classification is the university innovation team of Henan province.
